PHOSPHATIC FERTILIZERS
HDO has a unique track record of installing almost 90% of India's phosphatic fertilizer plants on Turnkey basis. HDO has been a pioneer in the development of continuous process for beneficiation of low grade phosphates for manufacture of phosphoric acid by the wet process and production of high analysis complete NPK and DAP granular phosphatic fertilizers.
In keeping with its global position in this field, HDO took position steps to organize itself to build some of its most prestigious phosphatic fertilizer plants in India, each successful plant outstripping the previous plant in its capabilities and design innovations.
Bulk of granular phosphatic fertilizers produced in India comes out of Hindustan Dorr-Oliver Design Plants, such as IFFCO-Kandla (six trains), MFL-Chennai (3 trains), GSFC, Sikka (2 trains), GFCL, Kakinada (2 trains) and single train DAP Plant for Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd., besides, the old Plants at EID-Parry Ltd., Chennai and FACT.

CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES
Wherever there is a need for separating the solids from the liquids in any chemical industry, HDO has been an active contributor. Solid-liquid separation units, such as Thickeners, Clarifiers, Classifiers, Drum Filters, Precoat Filters, Disc Filters, Horizontal Pan Filters, Horizontal Belt Filters, are some of the equipment, which cater to this segment. HDO has also supplied Drum Filters for various Oil Industries for separating stearin from olein.
HDO has supplied Equipment and Systems for various Soda Ash Industries and supplied Equipment to all major industries like Tata Chemicals, IPCL, GACL, Grasim, and Indian Rayon etc. |
