HDO's contribution to the Pulp & Paper Industry can be seen in almost every mill in India and many abroad.

In the past fifty years, since its inception in India, HDO has supplied wide range of Brown stock and Bleach Washers of different design comprising of wire wound, perforated and ripple deck design washers to the pulping industry.

The latest development work is in the arena of pulp cooking whereby HDO has come out with raw material preparation system and Continuous Digesters.

HDO Recausticizing plants for chemical recovery in Pulp & Paper Industry are well known. Most of the mills in India have sulphate process technology for pulp cooking and without HDO causticizing plant, this process is not economically viable.

The Pulp & Paper division of HDO has come out with innovative ideas to make their system most competitive to meet the challenges offered by the industry.

The Pollution laws have become stringent in the Pulp & Paper Industry. In order to achieve zero emission level HDO is active in providing oxygen delignification and total chlorine free bleaching plants to ensure a healthy environment.

HDO has recently executed a prestigious project for Gap Insaat Yatrim Ve Dis Ticaret of Turkey at Yaslik, Turkmenistan on turnkey basis for production of paper pulp from wheat straw. The project comprised of Wheat Straw Cleaning Plant, Continuous Digester System, and 3-stage Brownstock Washing System. Oxygen Delignification System, 2-stage Post-Oxygen Washers, Oxygen Preparation Plant, Total Chlorine free Bleaching System, 3-stage Bleach Washers, Pressure Screening and Final Pulp Centri-Cleaning System and Recausticizing Plant.

HDO has the capacity to execute jobs on turnkey basis for the complete pulp mill starting from raw material preparation to bleach pulp.
