GE India Industrial Pvt. Ltd. awarded HDO the job of design, supply and construction of 950 m3 / hr (22.8 MLD) of pre-treatment plant for sea water desalination project for TATA Chemicals Mithapur plant.

HDO has completed the pre-treatment plant on turnkey basis.

The project included:

• Reactor Clarifier
• Dual Media Filters
• Cartridge Filter
• Chemical Dosing System for Pre-treatment and RO system

The entire plant was automated requiring minimum manual intervention. The plant was successfully commissioned and handed over to GE in 2008 and is running successfully since commissioning.

Accomplishments:

• Successfully completed HDO’s first installation of Reactor Clarifier
• The treated water from the pre-treatment plant has been successfully utilized as feed water to the RO system
