Bulk material handling systems are required wherever large quantity of materials are to be conveyed from one point to another continuously over a period of time. Bulk handling systems are extensively used in Power plants, Mineral mining and processing plants, Coal mines, Process plants like Cement, Iron & Steel industries, etc for transporting commodities like Coal, Iron ore etc.

Material handling systems mainly constitute belt conveyors and equipments like Stackers, /Reclaimers, /feeders, hoppers, trippers, crushers, screens etc.

Long distance conveyors are also one of the areas of Material handling used in carrying material over long distances at high speed with minimum transfer points. These systems are required in conveying ores from mines to plants.

We have tied up with M/S.FMC technologies Inc., USA one of the top three Material handling company in US for technology support and have signed a MOU during their recent visit to India.

We are presently bidding for tenders in Coal India subsidiaries like Northern Coalfields & Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. for their Coal handling plants and rapid loading systems. These are EPC turnkey projects which HDO is looking for Execution.

As there is major thrust on Power sector in India by Govt., there are opportunities for Major power plants coming up in private sector. Bulk material handling systems will be required in all thermal power plants and HDO expects to penetrate into this segment and gain competitive advantage.

HDO has the capability of providing complete Balance of Plant packages for Power Plants which include packages like:

• Water Intake
• Water Treatment plant
• Demineralization plant
• Waste water treatment plant
• Cooling water system
• Ash Handing system
• Coal Handling system
• HVAC
• Fire Fighting system
• Associated Electrical and Control system
• Civil works for the above systems

20,000 MW of power is estimated to be generated from Nuclear Power Plants by the year 2020. HDO has intensified its efforts to tap opportunities in this sector. We have the capability of providing equipments such as Heat exchangers, Pressurizers, Moderators, Condensers, Deaerator, Storage Tanks, etc to the Nuclear Sector.

We also have the capability of providing Desalination, In-Plant and Cross Country Piping, Water Management and other Balance of Plants Packages for Nuclear Plants.

We are in the process of acquiring various Nuclear Certifications in manufacturing to increase customer confidence in our capabilities.

We are in talks with reactor suppliers to become a part of their supply chain in India. HDO is also in the process of establishing partnerships with other foreign technology players.

With more refineries coming up in the country, we are looking at taking up more projects in this sector. Our areas of interest include:

Currently we are executing complete water management for HMEL's (HPCL Mittal Energy Limited) Bhatinda Refinery.
